My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JUNUH is a 1,5 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 50 pounds. Junuh is doing well. He's a young energetic pup who likes to play. He is at a fosters and is doing well with their kids and 2 dogs (13 yr., old lab and 1 year old rescue). He is learning how to play with toys. Junuh would like a home with a yard with a physical fence so he can go outside and play.
Kids 10 and up as he can be mouthy. Knows sit, lay down, shake & come (sometimes). He will have a training addendum as he is a young dog. He hasn't been on lead much. House trained, being crate trained so he doesn't get in trouble when no one is home. Stayed outside during the day and inside at night. Slept in one of the kids rooms. Junuh's story – We got a call from and Emergency Vet that had a dog that needed an operation for a stomach blockage and but the family couldn't afford the cost and asked if we could help. We said yes and dog went to the vet where they found he didn't have a blockage but most likely had eaten something poisonous. He had to have two transfusions but they managed to save him and he is doing great and should have no long time problems. He is approved for kids 10+.

Update: Junuh continues to do well in his foster home. He has proven to be a gentle eater and treat taker. Although shy at first, he gets along great with our dogs. He likes to rumble but also loves to nap. He is a good snuggler. He likes to chase balls but hasn't mastered the art of bringing them back. He is great while walking on a leash and follows commands. A physical fenced in yard is needed because he really enjoys running and playing. He is house and crate trained but would do best with someone who isn't gone for a long workday.

Update:: Junuh is enjoying hanging out in his foster home and playing with the resident dog. He's a happy boy and is excited to find his forever family!

Update: Junuh has gotten a great report card from his foster mom. She says that he is doing really well. He is very well mannered and calm. He knows basic commands and is a very easy foster. He sounds like a dream.
