Say hello to Diesel! He now has the chance at a good life! He was previously in a home where he was crated almost 24/7, neglected, and abused. Thank goodness for our volunteers that never gave up on him and went and got him out of the horrible conditions he was living in. Diesel came to us so very scared and couldn't even walk on a leash. He also had an ear infection that is being treated. He is now getting time to decompress and the love and care he needs and deserves. Diesel will need an adopter that can be patient with him to teach him not all humans are bad. Once he is able to comes out of his shell, he is a happy, playful pup and full of love! He is doing so well in is foster home! He loves the little boy he lives with! Diesel is waiting for his forever home...could you be the one to show this young boy how wonderful the world can be??
UPDATE: Diesel is really thriving with his new foster family! Per his fosyer foster mom: He is here with my family, which includes myself, husband, and our 4 year old Autistic Son. We also have 3 other Rescue Dogs-a 12 yr old hound mix, a 12 year old Sheltie, and a 6 year old beagle, who is Diesel's BFF and they are attached at the hip. Our son has really taken a liking to Diesel and the feeling is mutual, which warms our hearts because he really could care less about the other dogs. Diesel was very thin when he arrived and has put on some weight and looks very healthy and he's very playful and also a huge cuddler. He has shown no food aggression and takes treats very nicely. He sits on command and shakes paws. I've been working with him on the leash and he's been getting better every day. We just adore him and he's made a huge impact on our hearts. I hope these pics will show his personality and what a handsome sweetheart he is
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
