My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is MamaMichelle. She is a Dilute Gray Tortie that is almost 4 years old (estimated dob 3/24/13). I, her foster mother, rescued her in Feb of 2016 when she was pregnant. Hey, there’s nothing like sitting out on the street at 3 a.m. in your pj's trying to lure a pregnant stray into a kennel so you can help her. When I brought her home I noticed she was quite underweight and suffering from an upper respiratory infection that turned into pneumonia. As sick as she was, she was immediately affectionate towards me in a way I have never seen from a cat. She loves to be held on her back cuddled in your arms and have her tummy rubbed. She purrs loudly the moment her person is near her. She is very playful and loves her coat to be combed. Her litter skills are impeccable and she lays still for a nail trim!

She has a cute tail with a little knob on the end. It appeared as though it had been broken at the end, but one of her kittens has the same tail, so it is probably genetic. She wags the tip of it. It will make you smile. Sometimes her eyes run clear liquid, but they are not infected. She is now in tip top shape, spayed, vaccinated, rabies shot given, and is ready for her new forever home.

MamaMichelle needs to be the only pet in the house. She will ignore other pets, but if they get too close to her, she lets them know they are not welcome around her. However, if she is adopted with a kitten she is fine. She likes to groom them. She is very nervous when she first meets a new person, but if you sit down with her, she comes around quickly and starts to purr and is ready to love you.

Please consider giving this wonderful adult kitty a great home where she can give you all of her love and be loved back.
