Beautiful Heather is looking for a forever home! She is about 2 years old and weighs 48 pounds. She is a pit bull terrier mix who enjoys having fun outdoors and snuggling with her human. She was rescued in March 2016 after being found in South Carolina tied up outside with no food or water. Heathers foster mom says: She loves to run and play outside and when inside, lounges in her crate or bed. Heather has been trained to stay off of furniture but would gladly join you on the couch if allowed. She does well being left alone indoors uncrated and is not destructive. Heather loves playing with toys but settles very quickly when it's time to relax. She is also happy to join you for a car rides. She is friendly with other dogs and has spent time on a farm setting daycare facility happily running with the pack. Heather is best suited for a home with a fenced yard, possibly with older kids and another dog for her to romp around with and then come in and snuggle. Another dog her size or larger would be the best match. Heather is up to date on shots, spayed and has microchip. If you would like to adopt Heather, please apply at http://www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org
