Heather is a petite pit mix weighing about 50 pounds with a beautiful gray and white cost. She is about 2 years old and knows basic commands. She walks perfectly on a leash and is up to date on all vaccines. She was rescued in March 2016 after being found in South Carolina tied up outside with no food or water. She is now living in the DC/MD/VA looking for a permanent home. She loves to run and play outside and when inside, lounges in her crate or bed. She has been trained to stay off of furniture but would gladly join you on the couch if allowed. She does well being left alone indoors uncrated and is not destructive. She is happy to join you for a car ride and settles down quickly onee aboard. She is friendly with other dogs and has spent time a a farm setting daycare facility happily running with the pack. She is best suited for a home with a fenced yard, possibly with older kids and another dog for her to romp around with and then come in and snuggle.
