Swindon's Story...
We rescued four little pups that had been thrown in a ditch to die.. 3 girls and 1 little boy. They are just the sweetest pups and full of puppy energy. They are approx 3-4 months old as of 4-16. This is Swindon and she weighs approx 3.5 lbs. It is probably safe to say that she will stay under 10 lbs when fully grown. She is more of a toy breed size. She looks like a chihuahua/terrier mix. She is Miss Personality, and runs and plays, runs and plays some more! She would do well with another companion to play with and she just loves her siblings. She also loves toys, and her doggie bed. All four curl up together to sleep and they love to eat. She will need leash and house training. She has the third set of puppy shots coming up in the first week of June and then will be spayed and ready for her new home..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Swindon, a Norwalk Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
