Edgar's Story...
Edgar is the most handsome man around! He is a typical Snowshoe cat and loves to be around his people. He has never met a stranger! He is very friendly and always has a lot to say! Edgar is also very intelligent and picks up on routines very quickly. Edgar was part of an animal hoard and so he is used to being around other cats, but he wouldn't mind being an only pet, either. As long as he gets lots of love this guy is happy. Because Edgar is older he spends most of his day relaxing, but he still has a lot of energy and loves to play! He regularly gallops around the house and LOVES to "hunt" dirty socks and deposit them at your feet! Edgar is fostered in Huntsville, Alabama and his adoption fee is only $25. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, fully vetted, and FIV/FeLV negative. The first step to making sweet Edgar a part of your family is filling out the non-binding, no obligation application at forrescue.net/cat-application. For questions about Edgar email info@forrescue.net. Edgar can't wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Edgar, a Knoxville Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
