Facts about Zoey

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tiger Striped
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Zoey is a beautiful and spunky 3 year-old American Shorthair cat with brown and black tiger stripes and a fluffy white "vest."

She LOVES to chase a laser, likes being scratched slowly on the back of her shoulders, and goes bonkers for treats or anything that sounds like them. She's very talkative and sweet, with a healthy serving of sass. She is not needy (unless it's meal-time!), but will greet you at the door with a trill and will be your shadow from a few feet away, day and night. She likes to sleep at the foot of the bed, so long as she can have her space.

She is fixed and has all of her claws. Zoey's ideal home has no other pets and no children, as she is stressed around them.

IMPORTANT: Please contact Zoey's current owner directly at if you are interested in Zoey. Camden Companions Animal Rescue is listing Zoey as a courtesy to the current owner and does not have any additional information.

About Camden Companions

About Our Rescue Group...

Camden Companions is a small no-kill cat and rabbit rescue that is run entirely by volunteers. We find homes for a total of about 140 cats, kittens, and rabbits per year, keeping them out of local kill shelters.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our cat adoption center is located inside the Petco at 2230 W Rt. 70 in Cherry Hill, NJ. You may view the cats inside their cages anytime the store is open, but the best time to meet the cats out of the cages is on weekends from 11am-2pm. Contact if you are interested in adopting but are not available during our weekend walk-in hours.

Many of our cats and kittens are in foster care. If a pet's bio does not say they are at Petco, then contact to schedule a meeting.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a two page adoption application available on our website that asks relevant questions about your residence, family, and past experience with pets. If you have had pets recently then we ask for the contact information for your veterinarian. We typically process adoption applications within 1-2 days.

Adoption fees are $75 for kittens under 6 months as well as rabbits, $60 for adult cats, and $45 for senior cats or special needs animals.

Adopters are required to take their new pet to a veterinarian for an initial checkup within the first two weeks after adoption.
