Barney's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Barney's Story...
Barney is a very cute, sweet and friendly one year old Terrier-Beagle mix. Just look at his eyes... they will melt you! He would be perfect for an active family who wants a playmate for children, a running mate or a hiking companion. He loves to cuddle and is great with children and other dogs.. Barney is still a puppy and needs a home where he isn't alone more than 4 -5 hours. Being crated 8+ hours a day would have a bad impact on this sweet pup's personality. He was professionally trained, is very healthy, neutered, up to date on shots and weighs around 40 pounds. Barney is housebroken, crate trained, good on a leash and loves to go for walks. He would make a great watch dog as well.To meet Barney or for questions contact his foster dad Mel at oneoftheone99@yahoo.com. Mel lives in Saylorsburg, PA. Please fill out a no-obligation application at hopeforhannahrescue.org. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Bartonsville Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Beagle for sale in Bartonsville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Beagle dog from a breeder in Bartonsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bartonsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bartonsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Beagle breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bartonsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
