Buddy's Story...
You’ve heard of Peter Cottontail, right? I’m Buddy, Buddy Bobtail. You can’t tell from my picture, but I have a bobtail, if you didn’t guess! Guess what else about me? I’m a feline-friendly guy who loves to meet new cats. I also like people and have been known to climb up in a lap or two in my day. I might be reserved at first, but it won’t last long. I also enjoy toys, especially those toys at the end of a stick. Sometimes I just play with the stick itself! I’m a handsome all-grey boy who’s looking for some blue skies – and a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
