found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.
Charlotte is much less playful when it comes to meeting new people. Probably out of fear, when strangers stand at her kennel door she usually growls and barks to scare them away. That works, and of course the strangers move on and adopt another dog! Once she knows someone, like the regular volunteers and staff, she is very happy to see them and just melts into a little love bug. Charlotte has spent a weekend in a foster home and did very well with the foster mom and the resident female dog. She loves the 'good life' and could get used to that very quickly.
Her ideal home would be one without young children as unpredictable movements, noise and activities could frighten her. Peace and predictability would suit her well. What a gem Charlotte is!
Charlotte's adoption fee is $175; she is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. Some of our pets are in foster care. If you are interested in a specific pet, please contact the shelter at (618) 939-7389 to arrange a meeting.
