Imogene's Story...
[ADOPTION ENDING] Greetings everyone. My name is Imogene. I'm two years old and looking for a new family. I come from a place that's hot most of the year and am REALLY interested in romping in the snow. My foster mom says I'm an enchanting little peanut (she calls me dollhouse-sized). I'm a roughcoat (longhaired) girl who's vaccinated, microchipped, HW-negative, housetrained and spayed. Right now I have a pretty severe skin infection but my foster mom is giving me medicine and our good friend Sherryl gave me a VERY soothing medicated bath which sure helped me feel better. Thank you Auntie Sherryl -- You're the best!

I walk well on leash. I get along with most other dogs and with cats, and I'm pretty gentle with kids. I'm a mighty happy little girl with lots of energy. My foster mom would like me to have a traditional six-foot fenced yard. As for me, I love to cuddle and I just want a family who will love me.

Give me a call. I'll be waiting,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Imogene, a Sudbury St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Sudbury, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Sudbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sudbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sudbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sudbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
