Meet Casey. Life has not been easy for the past few years of her life. However, this pup has made an amazing transformation in a short time and if your family is looking for a goofy gal learning how to be a family pet, then she is your match! She is intelligent, focused, and has a passion for tennis balls! In one week, she has learned how to be 100% potty trained, how to sit, has learned her name, and the word "no." She gets along great with the dogs and people that she has met. This includes children and dogs of all sizes. Casey would prefer to not share her home with any cats, but is comfortable being an only dog as well as having a canine companion. Casey enjoys relaxing in the same room with her favorite people and is a great car rider. At night and while away, Casey takes comfort in having a space, such as her crate, where she can relax. She gets a little scared while in her crate meeting new people, but open that door and POOF, the fear disappears and she is ready to meet and greet!

SAAP dogs and puppies are vet checked, UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, and given flea and heartworm preventatives as age appropriate.

About Stray Animal Adoption Program

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?

We need your help to continue our mission. We rely solely on donations and fundraisers. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation will go towards the rescue, care, and medical needs of the animals.

If you need info on a cat or kitten please contact 859-391-2944

Our Adoption Process...

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.
