I am in need of an experienced adopter, good with kids, and good with small animals.

Farrah's Story...
Hey! I'm Farrah and can't wait to meet you! I was surrendered by our owner because they couldn't take care of me anymore. No worries, I got to come live with these really awesome people at Five Points Ferret Refuge where I live the good life with lots of food, fun, and fresh water! As much fun as we do have here, me and my new sister Tiffany are really ready to find our furrever home.

A little about me...I'm 1-1/2 years old and am very cute! I love, Love, LOVE to play, run through tubes, stash everything I can, and climb. I can pretty much climb anything so my new home will need to have some experience with ferrets and have a secure free roam area for me to explore. I'm very busy but very sweet and would make a wonderful addition to someone's family. I'm spayed and up to date on my shots so I'm ready to move anytime.

Tiffany and I hope to see you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Farrah, a Indianapolis Ferret was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ferret for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Ferret from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ferret breeders who help with Ferret rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
