LARK's Story...
Meet Little LARK! This gal is just precious at 3 pounds, despite her bushy long hair that makes her appear larger. Lark came into our rescue with her brother Levi. Her mom is about 11 pounds full grown, so it's likely Lark will remain a small pup. Like all rescue puppies, Lark will need basic training and housebreaking. She is energetic, outgoing and very social, and she loves the attention of our rescue staff. She and her brother Levi are paired up and get along just fine. Little Miss Lark is ready for a home of her own.

She is available now, and can be adopted before we arrive at PetSmart in Monroeville, PA on Saturday, May 21st. Please complete an online application, which you can find on our website at No in-store, same day adoptions are available.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LARK, a Monroeville Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Monroeville, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Monroeville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroeville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroeville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroeville paves the way for another one to be saved.
