This little golden boy is Flynn, a 4 year old golden retriever/shepherd mix that is hoping to be whisked away by a wonderful family that will never let him go again. Flynn came to us when he was found as a stray. He actually had identification on him but when his owners were located, they decided not to come in and get him. It's probably all for the best though because Flynn was thin, matted and dirty, and looked as if he were pretty neglected. Flynn was quite nervous at first but once he realized he was in good hands, he began making lots of new friends. Flynn is still nervous with meeting new people and it will take a little time for you to earn his trust but once you do, he'll love you forever. Flynn is an outgoing and active little guy that loves to go for walks and run in our exercise yard. He is very polite and will sit nicely when asked. He walks well on a leash and is very gentle with taking toys and treats too. Flynn seems eager to meet other dogs so if you have one, bring them in to meet him and we'll see how they do.
