Poco has really had a tough time of it in his young life but he's putting all of that behind him and hoping to start over with a great family again real soon. Poco is about 4 1/2 years old and it seems that when his owner took him to the veterinarian and he was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, the vet told the owners that it can be dangerous if left untreated. The owner took that as Poco was dangerous....(no, we're not kidding) and they tossed him outside and called us to remove this dangerous cat from the premises. Poor Poco was shaken up by the whole ordeal and who can blame him? He has settled in and is making friends but he is still unsure of whether or not to trust people. If you go slow and are gentle with him, Poco relaxes and begins to enjoy getting attention. He will get very purry and affectionate, but he just needs time to get to know you. He is such a sweetheart and just needs a patient family that will help him to overcome his fears. Poco is perfectly healthy now and he's ready to go home. He seems fine with other cats and will be your best friend if you give him the chance. File#25733 11/5/15
