Kinzy's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi! My name is Kinzey, and I'm a 3-year old American Foxhound mix. I am a silly, smart, loveable, playful cuddlebug. I have lots of energy when you want to play, but I am perfectly content to amuse myself while you do your thing, and I love to snuggle up next to you while you relax. I'm a little shy around new people, but with a little time and patience, I always come around. I do really well with dog-savvy little kids. I am house-trained, crate-trained, and love to go for car rides and walks. I bet I would make a great jogging partner! I need to be an only pet. My foster says that I am close to being the PERFECT DOG! I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on all my vaccinations. I was recently adopted but my new mommy has back issues and I'm not getting the exercise I deserve and she really wants the best for me. If you want to meet me (and I sure HOPE you do!), please fill out our online application at and scroll down to Kinzy, the pretty one waiting for a home. On that page is my application. Submit that and the director and my mommy will arrange a meet and greet. I hope we can meet soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kinzy, a Woodbridge Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Woodbridge, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Woodbridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodbridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodbridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodbridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
