Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY LISTING for BILBO. This dog is not at Oregon Dachshund Rescue. For information please contact Julie at Julie@seattlehumane.org.
Here is what folks at the Seattle Humane Society have to say about BILBO:
We have the greatest, sweetest 10 year old male neutered dachshund named Bilbo. He is currently living in a foster home because he had a major dental procedure completed and he is healing from it. He had almost all of his teeth removed. He should be ready for adoption later this week. He is a great little dog and we really want him to go to a special home that knows the breed and how to care for a little senior guy. He is as sweet as pie and does great with all of the dogs he has met here. Please let me know if you have any other questions of if you would like to meet him.
Please note that this is a Courtesy Listing for a doxie that is NOT at Oregon Dachshund Rescue, Inc, ODR-Inc cannot make any guarantees or claims about this doxie...we are just helping to network him and help them find his forever family. For information, please contact Julie@seattlehumane.org directly.
ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 12 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
