Tux's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tux's Story...
Hi, I'm Tux! I am a 5 year old shepherd mix and my previous owner lost our home, so he couldn't keep me. I am a laid back, mellow guy who is quiet and housebroken. I like people, but I really love children, Especially when they hug me!

Everyone thinks I'm a great dog, but I have one small problem... I was born with a club foot. Don't let it worry you- I can walk and run and get around just fine. It was even evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon and he said it's just fine the way it is. It makes me special. And it certainly won't stop me from being a loving companion and family member,

Please come meet me at the PetSmart on E. Hampton in Mesa on Saturdays from 10:30-4. You might just be my perfect match!

Feel free to text my rescue leader, Sherie, at 480-204-9395 if you have any questions about me. I can't wait for a family of my own to love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tux, a Mesa Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
