Roxy (fostered in PA)'s Story...
Gorgeous Carolina Dog mix seeking very active family....dogs, kids, fenced yard would be amazing for our sweet Roxy who we rescued in South Carolina!!

Roxy's a female, just over a year old and is currently being fostered in Western PA. She's had all of her shots, she's HW negative, spayed - she weighs about 55 lbs. so she's a good sized pup and she's got some serious energy. If you're a runner or serious hiker - this is the girl for you! She's always down for a good romp outside and she loves to play with the other dogs! We believe she'd do great with a family that has older children as she does play hard and she would benefit from some training classes so she can bond with her new family. Roxy's got a very high energy level - she absolutely needs a family that will make sure she gets lots of exercise. She's also got a very high prey drive - so no cats....if you have a squirrel problem.....lol she's your answer!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy (fostered in PA), a Cranston Carolina Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Carolina Dog dog from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
