I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
My name is Sally and I'm about 8 year's old. Do not let my age fool you, I am full of spunk and life. I love to play with foster brothers and sisters both dog's and human. I love to cuddle and find a good pillow to take a nap on after a good play time and belly rub. My age has perks, I am past the "puppy" stage. I am house and crate trained.
We are a rescue that networks and promote shelter dogs at risk of being euthanized at high kill shelters. If no one comes to their rescue, we step in. We are always looking for fosters and donations as well as volunteers so that we can continue to save the dogs who have run out of time at the high kill shelters.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Our dogs are placed in foster homes around North Carolina and currently in the Concord, Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point and Salisbury areas. We want our dogs to be placed in a loving and caring home and will arrange meet and greets with approved adopters.
Our Adoption Process...
All dogs are fully vetted, have age appropriate core vaccinations, and have been spayed/neutered and microchiped. 100% of the adoption fees go back to helping us rescue more dogs.
Our adoption process consists of an application, phone or face to face interview, home visit and reference checks. If you are approved to adopt from Tails of the Unwanted, you will be required to sign an adoption contract.
