Boone's Story...
pit bull lab mix

Boone is a 3 year old beautiful 80 plus lb pit bull mix that makes friends everywhere he goes- His tail is always wagging- HE ADORES PEOPLE AND COMPANIONSHIP-He loves being right next to you- would be a great dog for someone who works from home-he'd love a big yard to run around in -

He is an easy going, yet playful dog that is totally house broken and knows sit, stay and paw! He could live in a home with another dog, HE has not met a dog that he doesn't get along with - Boone is submissive with dogs- not a rough player - very easy going- - but is large and can be strong so kids that have lived with a large dog would be considered- he is wonderful and gentle, but is a big boy- He is in Stamford CT - we have more photos and a video upon request- email tea66@optonline.net or apply at catassistanceny.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boone, a Ardsley Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Ardsley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Ardsley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ardsley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ardsley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ardsley paves the way for another one to be saved.
