The message on Facebook read,"Please trust me on this but if this dog isn't gone from where he is ASAP he will be Bait or made to fight. He is not a fighting dog and definately not bait....Please share and lets get this baby a safe place to land"
The rescue of PATCH was a good save. This dog was networked by a fellow rescue in GA where I learned the dog was being groomed for dog fighting because of his size. He already had the battle scars of being submitted to dogs that would bite him trying to initiate a fight.....but, he would not fight.
And the words of his owner was "fat boy will either learn to fight or find himself as bait"
And so, today Patch is free. He is a Diamond Dog, he has been fully vetted and cared for and is in his foster home in Delaware until we find his forever home. He is a beautiful, loving sweet dog that is around a year old. Patch weighs around 65 lbs and will need a home that can offer him lots of play time because he is still young and full of energy.
