Bev's Story...
Meet Bev!

Bev is a highly curious young little girl and enjoys exploring new surroundings. Tunnels and runways are a great way for her to exercise, but she also likes to be out and about and loves to run on a wheel. She is a little shy when being picked up initially, but she quickly gets comfortable being handled and will take treats from your hand. You will need a 20gallon long tank to house Bev in to keep her comfortable as she is a Syrian hamster and will get to be around 6 to 7in in length when full grown

Her adoption fee is $10

Please email Exotic-Adopt@rchsks.org to get an application to fill out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bev, a Manhattan Hamster was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hamster for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Hamster from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hamster breeders who help with Hamster rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
