Cherub's Story...
Hello my name is Cherub! I'm a sweetheart that is only 4 years old, stocky, and quite handsome if I do say so myself. I was transferred from North Carolina to Al-Van because I was on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding in the shelter. I'm 55 pounds, but I'm quite low to the ground, which is why I'm listed as medium sized. I get along with everyone I meet, and am very gentle. I do enjoy long walks or playtime just like any other young dog, but I calm down once I get my energy out for the day. I need to learn a few manners since no one ever taught me, but I am very motivated so I will learn quickly. Could you be the home for me? Fill out an adoption application at www.al-van.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cherub, a South Haven Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
