Zorro's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Zorro was found running and scared, he came in very hungry and with his defense up, but when he knew we wasn't going to hurt him, he showed us love and how he has changed for us all, he loves to snuggle into his bed, and enjoys going outside to chase the squirrels, a fenced yard is a must for him. He loves to be with you and enjoys car rides, but mostly just laying on the couch and being your buddy. Zorro is estimate age is 5-7 years old, so he has may good years in front of him.
PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK on the Rat Terrier breeds, they are not good for little kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zorro, a Sparta Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Sparta, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Sparta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sparta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sparta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sparta paves the way for another one to be saved.
