Patti Sue's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Patti was found in a very rural area, living as a stray. She had either been abandoned, or was very lost. Attempts at finding an owner, were not successful. Patti is very friendly, and affectionate. She gets along well with other dogs, and also with our cats. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and is micro-chipped. If you would like to make Patti part of your family, contact colliegal45@socket.net or call 573-756-2237

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patti Sue, a Sparta Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Sparta, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Sparta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sparta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sparta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sparta paves the way for another one to be saved.
