Sugar's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sugar is a 5 month old Yellow Lab who was saved from the ditch she was dumped in. Fortunately for her a good Samaritan saw her owners put her in the ditch. She was taken into his home until he decided what he was going to do with her. After about a month he decided to turn her over to a rescue because he knew he couldn’t keep her. Sugar is a sweet, playful, friendly, loving girl looking for a place to call home. Sugar is in foster care with other dogs and cats. She is spayed, up to date on shots, wormed, micro chipped, crate trained and doing well with housebreaking. If you are looking for a wonderful little girl to add to your family, look no further. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Sparta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sparta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sparta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sparta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sparta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sparta paves the way for another one to be saved.
