Archie's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Archie was rescued from the pound, where he spent a long time waiting for us to rescue him. He escaped his 'kill date' more than once. He has a glossy black coat, that looks stunning in the sunlight. He knows a few basic commands, and walks well on a leash. He is a gentle, sweet natured boy. He has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and he is micro-chipped. If you are looking for a walking or jogging companion, he might be the one for you. His contact is colliegal45@socket.net , or 573-756-2237

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Archie, a Sparta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sparta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sparta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sparta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sparta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sparta paves the way for another one to be saved.
