Raq's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Raq's litter was rescued from a high kill facility, where their mom's owner took them to 'get rid' of them. They were so happy to get out of that bad place, and we were so lucky they have been healthy. Not all puppies are so fortunate. They are playful, and even at this young age, we can see they are smart, and would do excellent in obedience classes. Raq is the perfect age to go into his forever home. He has been neutered, has had two of his puppy shots, wormed, and he is micro-chipped. For more info, contact colliegal45@socket.net or call 573-756-2237

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raq, a Sparta Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Sparta, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Sparta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sparta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sparta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sparta paves the way for another one to be saved.
