Delta's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Delta and her sisters came from a very rural area.   With no socialization, or contact with many people,  they are a work in progress.    They had many obstacles to overcome, such as, learning the sights and sounds of traffic, walking on a leash, among others.   They have progressed very well.  They no longer fear walking as traffic goes by, they are friendly, and know a couple of basic commands, and are learning more.   Delta loves playing in the water.    Delta has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and started on heartworm preventive.   Delta would love more than anything, to be someone's loyal companion, for the rest of her life.    To give Delta that opportunity, contact p1street@charter.net or 314-452-8009

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delta, a Sparta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sparta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sparta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sparta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sparta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sparta paves the way for another one to be saved.
