Hunny's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hunny's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hunny was living as a stray, when she was rescued.   She was rescued by a young woman, who fed her and cared for her, while she tried to find where Hunny came from.  No one reported her missing, or went looking for her.   Hunny is a very good little dog.   She has sweet personality, and get along with the other dogs, and even the cats, very well.   She loves car rides more than anything.   Hunny has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and she is micro-chipped.    She is housebroken, and thinks she is a lap dog.    If you would like to give this nice young girl, the home she is waiting for, contact colliegal45@socket.net , or call 573-756-2237

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunny, a Sparta Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Sparta, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Sparta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sparta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sparta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sparta paves the way for another one to be saved.
