Tonya's Story...
Hey my name is Tonya! Can you imagine how awesome it would be to have me as part of your family? I am estimated around 8 weeks of age, will be a medium to large size girl that is ready to spice up someone's life. I love taking buggy rides around the neighborhood while my foster mom is doing her daily exercise, she tells me one day when a family of my own comes along that I will be big enough to walk/run along beside them and that makes me very excited. I've been working on some basic housebreaking do's and don'ts so this is one less thing my new parents have to work with me as long on. I love playing with my siblings, the other funny looking 4 legged critters and the cute little 2 legged things my foster mom calls her grandchildren.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tonya, a Bedminster Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
