My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby is a female Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese mix about 12 months old. She currently weighs 9 lbs. which is close to her adult weight. Ruby has a soft, straight coat of hair that is tan with a light orange tint. She entered a shelter with an older Maltese/Yorkie mix female (Opal). These two girls are bonded and may be sisters. One thing for sure, they enjoy each other and play continuously. These girls also get along nicely with other dogs. Last weekend their foster family took the girls to Fiesta Island and the dogs had a wonderful time meeting new people but stayed close to their foster family. Our rescue is seeking a family desiring to adopt the girls together as they would be very unhappy if separated. Both girls have not had previous training so a person with previous experience house training a dog is essential. Ruby will thrive in a home where she has consistency, and lots of gentle love.. Ruby is ready for their new forever home today!
