My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elsa and her mother Anna were found as strays and brought to the shelter. Elsa is an adorable tan Terrier mix who is about 1.5 years old and weighs 17 lbs. She is a sweet, shy little girl but when she warms up to you, she is a snuggle bug! She is a little shy with strangers but she loves other dogs and she warms up quickly. We find that she is better with dogs closer to her size as she may be a little scared with bigger dogs but she is not at all aggressive- just cautious around bigger dogs. Elsa is very affectionate and loves cuddles and just hanging out with her people. She is attentive and curious and pretty smart. She is already learning SIT and HEEL. She loves her toys and bully sticks and she lives for treats! She is housebroken and crate trained. Elsa can be mellow but loves racing around the yard and playing. We are working with her to build her confidence and she is coming along nicely in this regard. She does bark when people come to the door but, again, she is not aggressive - just not quite settled into her new surroundings. She is a turn key dog and is going to be a great addition to any home! Looking for a snuggle buddy? Elsa is the girl for you!
