My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Johnny is an absolutely adorable 11 months young pup, who is playful in the home with his canine friends, and a perfect little gentleman when he’s out about town. He loves to hike with his foster family, as long as it’s not too hot outside, and adores Kong toys and tennis balls. In his former life, Johnny was locked in a bathroom for 3 weeks by his previous owner. Now, he is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy who will make everyone around him smile. He is stunning and gets lots of attention everywhere he goes. Johnny likes to hang out at coffee shops, or anywhere else you would like to go, where he just lays down politely and calmly watches as dogs and people pass by him. If they approach, he calmly wags and interacts with them, soaking up the love.

Johnny is house and crate trained, and is very smart and responsive to basic training. He learns so quickly, and will mimic his canine buddies’ good manners. His easy demeanor around people make him a great candidate for a Canine Good Citizen, or even, some day, a therapy dog. But for now, he wants to play, chew on his chew toys, snuggle, and play some more. Johnny will teach you the meaning of fun!
Johnny’s ideal home is one that has at least one other dog to mentor him, no cats (they excite him too much) and a lot of activity. Since he stays in the crate when unsupervised and for naps, he needs a family whose schedule will allow for puppy potty breaks.
