Moscow's Story...
Hi, my name is MOSCOW and I am a PRETTY 2 year old brown tabby with white kitty. Not that long ago I was found with a very bad leg injury. The veterinarians that treated me could not save my left leg, but they saved my life! For the last few weeks I’ve been recuperating in a nice foster home and I’ve been doing really well. The area where my leg was amputated is still a little sensitive but I am getting better and better with each passing day. Here are some of the comments that my foster mom has said about me. “MOSCOW is a SWEET, GENTLE SOUL with a QUIET VOICE. She always gives me kisses before heading to have some breakfast. She likes to RUB up against people and adores a good HEAD and CHIN SCRATCH. She loves to sit by the window and watch everything that is going on outside.” If you would like to reap the rewards of opening up your heart and home to a SPECIAL NEEDS GIRL, then arrange to meet me. You’re sure to fall in love. I am spayed, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moscow, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
