Freeway was found by HFE's director walking along the side of a major freeway during bumper-to-bumper traffic. He was malnourished, exhausted, and injured. It was soon discovered that he had a broken pelvis and was heartworm positive. He has completed his treatment and has adjusted well at his foster home as he is enjoying home life.
