My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People,
My name is Carter and I am a darling, friendly, playful bichon puppy of about 10 months with good looks and a big personality. Or, as my foster family says, “A happy guy in a gorgeous package!!!
Dad says I get along well with other dogs and am a pretty typical puppy in many ways. So you will not be surprised to know that I like to play… and play and play. For me that means things like tossing my stuffed alligator or my squeaky bone in the air and trying to catch them. Or running around with toys in my mouth. I’m also good about sharing my toys with my doggy foster brother. (Of course I am. Why he’s sharing Mom and Dad with me so that’s only fair!) I also like to play with balls, especially tennis balls, and am learning to play this game called ‘Fetch’.
I love to go on walks and rides in the car. I like the two-legged kids in the family and like to be petted. I wag my tail so they know I’m enjoying the attention. Did I mention that I also love to be cradled and have my belly rubbed? I don’t bark or make a fuss, am crate trained and housebroken! How’s that for amazing? And there is no doubt that I'm an incredibly HAPPY little guy, too.
Mom says to tell you that there is one other unique thing about me: I’m fascinated with the family guinea pigs. I like to sit and watch them. I think they are fascinating and must admit I’m a bit curious about what they are. Mom says I can spend hours just observing them, which is pretty unusual for an active playful puppy!
I’m smart, (I’ve already mastered some commands and am working on others) and want to please. Most of all I’m a love of a pup with tons of promise, who would love another fur kid to play with and love, as well as a family of my own (even one with guinea pigs!) So if I sound like the kind of bichon that you have been looking for, please complete the application as I am waiting to meet you.
Tail wags and smiles,
Charming and Charismatic Carter
