My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there. My name is Nook. I'm about 6 years old and I weigh about 45 lbs.
I was surrendered to the pound by my owner because they thought it was no longer fair for me to live outside in a kennel. I had, at some point, been a house dog. They said I was really great with being housebroken and that I was really good in the house.
I am a very sweet, friendly, social boy. I do get kind of scared when someone stands over me, but once I know you just want to be friends, I am just fine.
My old family said that I hate bikes, motorcycles and similar sorts and that I did nip at someone on a bike once, so my new family will need to be responsible about keeping me confined.
I am a really wonderful boy other than that. I like people and I get along well with other dogs.
I will need some leash training as I have never been on a leash prior to coming in to the pound.
i am very smart and I learn fast. I am already improving.
If you're looking for a nice dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER MAY 10, 2016.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $120 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING, MICROCHIP AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
