Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ryder, one of the luckiest pups in the Southeast! Our foster mom, Tracy, was driving to the store one day when she saw a dog zig zagging from lane to lane in the road. Being the person she is, she stopped to ask the dog (Ryder) if he needed a ride. Since Ryder was in the oncoming traffic lane, with a car approaching quickly, he immediately agreed to jump in the car with Tracy! After ascertaining that Ryder did not have a family waiting for him somewhere, we have been taking care of him and will be sending him out to Washington in the next week! Talk about being a lucky dog! Ryder is truly a great boy! He is very fond of the car and loves riding around town with his foster mom. Ryder is also very good in the house and does well in his crate. This handsome man is approximately 2 years old, close to 40 lbs and is a heeler/laussie (?) mix. Ryder has been working really hard on his leash training and is getting better each day. Ryder gets along great with other dogs and loves play time! When Ryder wants attention, he stands on his hind legs and bounces around…it is very cute and the sweetest Ryder is affectionate, super friendly and confident and will make a great family dog. He needs an active family and would love hiking/running and exploring the great outdoors with his new family. Ryder is neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots. He will be heading out on transport on May 18th with arrival in Washington on May 21st. Any questions email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com or go online to complete an application: www.raincityrescue.com (choose adopt tab). Ryder’s adoption fee is $500. If you need a little luck on your side and an awesome sidekick in your life, we highly recommend considering Ryder! He will make an amazing addition to your family!
