My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

5/16/2016: SALTY HAS BEEN NEUTERED AND IS READY TO FIND HIS FOREVER FAMILY! Salty and his "sister " (we are not sure that they are actually related) Pepper came in together. The man who brought them in said that a couple of months ago, he saw someone toss these two babies out of his truck as he was driving down the road. The man tried to rescue them and would have liked to have kept them but he fell on hard times and was going to be evicted from his home. He tried to place them but had run out of time. He considered surrendering to the kill shelter as his last option but did not have the heart to go thru with it so someone suggested he call us. He estimates these babies at around 6 months of age, he had started house training them and said they had been doing well but still needed some finishing touches. We think he is greyhound/pitbull terrier mix. Salty is shyer than his "sister" but he warms up quickly. They have not been around other dogs or kids but should do fine since they are still puppies and like to play and get plenty of affection. We feel that both pups will make good family dogs and would love a big yard with kids to play with. They are both very sweet. We will be getting them spayed/neutered and vetted very soon and will have more information about their health after they have been seen. Salty and Peppers adoption fee will be $150 each to help cover cost of vetting and care while with us. If interested in giving either Salty, Pepper or both a permanent home, please email your adoption application and interest to us or call us @ (352)493-1255 for more information. They will be ready to join their new families after they have been spayed and neutered. Salty will be neutered and vetted on Monday, May 16th.
