Sadie's Info...

I am not good with dogs.

Sadie's Story...
A bit domineering, I am not the type to turn my back on a fight. That being said, I have proven myself to be good around more submissive dogs. I walk well on a leash as long as you lead the way though I have no problem barging through a door. I need a strong hand and some discipline but all in all, I can be a good and beautiful dog for your home.

All dogs adopted from the Animal Care and Adoption Center Texarakana, Arkansas must be spayed or neutered. Spay costs are $99-126 and neuter costs are $89-107 depending on the weight of the dog. All dogs must be vaccinated for rabies and receive a microchip.

Act quickly to adopt Sadie. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Texarkana Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Texarkana, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Texarkana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Texarkana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Texarkana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Texarkana paves the way for another one to be saved.
