GrayC is a sweet teenage kitty that loves to play with toy mice and sit on high surfaces. She is pretty calm, spending most of her days people-watching from the window and soaking up the warm sun. We first thought she didn't get along with other cats, but after two weeks with her new foster sister, Bonnie, the two are the best of friends. GrayC loves to rub herself against you and give head bumps all day long, and will sleep curled up right beside you through the night if you let her. GrayC can play a little rough and, because of this, she would also do better in a home without small children. Although we do not require GrayC and Bonnie to go together, we would love to see this happen because they are so great together. We are willing to adopted GrayC and Bonnie together under the bonded cat discount (one adoption fee for both kittens). Bonnie has really brought GrayC out of her shell and GrayC seems to really love the company of her younger companion, Bonnie. They are both so great together.

This kitty is currently inside the Hampton PetSmart Adoption Room.

Thank you for choosing to adopt!

As a no-kill rescue, we can only bring in and save more cats and kittens in need as our current cats and kittens are adopted. This is why we say that when you adopt one cat or kitten you are actually saving TWO lives! One is the current cat or kitten that you are adopting, the second is the one that we now have room to save and place into our safe shelter.

About The Cat Corner:

The Cat Corner was founded by a very passionate and devoted animal lover, Martha Nicholson. After seeing an overwhelming number of cats homeless and being euthanized, Martha was determined to open a no-kill shelter to make a difference in these cats' lives. In 1981, Martha purchased an old barber shop at her own expense and opened The Cat Corner in Hampton, Virginia. The Cat Corner is a completely volunteer operated organization and is solely funded by donations from the community. Because of the help of our caring and hardworking volunteers and the support and donations from our community, we have been able to uphold Martha's dream and make a difference in countless lives...and doing so for over three decades!

The Cat Corner, Inc. is a nonprofit, all-volunteer-run organization that does not receive any federal, state or local government funding. We depend solely from the generosity of caring individuals from our community to continue to do our work.
