Hi! My name is Oberon (or as my human friends have nicknamed me, Obie), and I am a 4 1/2 year old spayed female pitbull. My sister, Stella, is also here at the rescue. While she is more energetic, I am a little more laid back. But, I still love to play with her. I am very trustworthy around humans large and small; I even got to make my first tulip time appearance at the parade and I got to meet all kinds of new friends-dogs and humans alike. I was awarded with ice cream at this interesting place called Captain Sundae. I even get to visit Grand Valley State University at their Pre-Vet Club meetings with my human friends because I do so well.
Some of my interests include: I love to go on adventures with my sister, including the dog park. But, my favorite place I have been on an adventure to has been that ice cream place-or really, any place I can get yummy food. I know my basic commands, and I even take treats from human hands very gently. I walk very well on a leash, but I can be too strong for some people (get some muscles man!), so my friends at the rescue have been helping me walk without pulling so much, and I have no doubt I have improved greatly at this.
