MITCH's Story...
Mitch is not Kritter Kamp Rescue's dog. He is being cross posted for the owner. Please read the information and call the owner below.

Male, Beagle/terrier mix, about 45 lbs, 7 years old
Loves people and other dogs, but chases cats and does not like children

Mitch is a very sweet boy, with an charming, fun personality. He is loved by almost every person who meets him. He has lots of energy and is great outdoor companion; however, he knows how to settle down and take a load off when appropriate. He knows various tricks, including roll over, play dead and shake, and is very food oriented so learns quick. He is very agile and several people have suggested we enroll him in the dog agility courses. The one trick he won't learn though is how to retrieve - rascal. He is a people dog all the way, and will shower you with kisses at every opportunity. He is house trained, and is not allowed on furniture, although he would jump at the opportunity to sleep on your lap if you let him! He was the center of our family for many years, was featured in numerous Christmas cards, and even walked down the aisle at our wedding. Sadly though, he is very uncomfortable around children, and now that our family has grown to include a toddler and a baby, we have come to realize that we are no longer compatible. Mitch deserves an owner who can give him the love and attention that he needs. We adopted Mitch in 2009 from a rescue organization when he was 9 months old.
