Ziggy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ziggy's Story...
Ziggy is a purebred male Great Dane. Unfortunately, Ziggy's owner had some health issues and was forced to give Ziggy to rescue. Like most Danes, Ziggy is a gentle giant. He love to be petted and is very well mannered. Ziggy gets along well with other dogs and cats. He knows to stay off the furniture, but does like to sit on your lap!

Danes in general are not overly active or energetic dogs, and Ziggy is no exception. He likes to walk and hike, but he isn't a runner or a high energy dog. Ziggy is happiest curled up next to his people.

If you have always wanted a great Dane or if you're familiar with the breed, Ziggy would be a great fit for your home. Fill out an application today! his handsome boy won't be searching for a home for long!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a Reno Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Reno, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Reno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reno paves the way for another one to be saved.
