Hi, I'm Baloo! I'm 9 weeks old. My mom and I were rescued, along with my 3 brothers, and turned in to the Pasadena Humane Society when I was about 2 weeks old. After about a week in foster care, my mom was unable to care for us and my foster mom started bottle feeding. I'm very sweet, love to snuggle, and have the absolute best purr machine! I'm also great with dogs, cats, and even kids, so I'd be a great addition to any loving family. If you're interested in adopting me, please call my foster mom at 818-926-6862 or email I'm neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and ready to go home with you today! My adoption fee is $110 to cover my medical expenses. I hope to see you soon!

About Happy Strays Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Happy Strays Rescue is a non-profit rescue organization that cares for stray, abandoned and orphaned cats and kittens. Our rescues are often just babies who require bottlefeeding and hand rearing. Our cats and kittens are cared for in a network of wonderful foster homes while they wait for adoption.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We currently have many many cats and kittens ready for adoption! Because we do not have a shelter and our cats reside in foster homes they are only available to be seen at our adoption Saturdays. If there is a cat you would like to meet, please let us know so that we can make sure the kitty is at our next event.

Our cats are available for adoption every Saturday from 11 am-3:30 pm at the PETCO in La Canada and 10:00am-2:30pm at Petco in Santa Clarita. Please see our website for details and directions.

Our Adoption Process...

Our fees average $100 and include spay/neuter, testing for Felv/FIV and all vaccinations. We have an adoption questionaire and contract to be signed. We do not allow de-clawing, but we often rescue declawed cats and have them available for adoption. If the adoption is not a good fit for the cat or family, pets may always be returned to us.
