Lulu's Story...
THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING. THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF WILKES IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HEALTH AND TEMPERAMENT OF THIS DOG

Lulu was rescued from a home that kept her on a 4 foot chain all her life. She is 2 years old and had no contact with other dogs, other than her father (Max) that she was chained with. She is sweet to us, let us handle her food, groom her. For the first time in her life she is getting the attention she deserves, and in return she gives us a lick. This is her way of thanking us. We would like Lulu and her father Max go together since they get along very well together. For adoption information contact Judith, henryorszula@wilkes.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lulu, a North Wilkesboro Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in North Wilkesboro, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in North Wilkesboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Wilkesboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Wilkesboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Wilkesboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
