Hello future family! My name is Alpha but my foster mom says my name should be Zen becauseof my calm nature and because I like to do yoga poses. I love joining my foster family on longwalks, shopping at pet stores, playing with my stuffy chicken or just sitting on the porchwatching the world go by. I love to be with them all the time and would do best in a foreverhome where I have company most of the time. I am happy to be active, cuddle on the couch orsit quietly beside you.I like to go out with them to explore the world. I am comfortable and well behaved when visitingfriends, in crowds at markets, walking along busy streets or hiking trails in the forest. I love tomeet and greet both people and dogs and I am always complemented on my lovely doggymanners and good looks. People have mistaken me for the dog in Disney’s Homeward Bound. They think I’m a celebrity!I know my basic commands and I am a quick learner. My foster mom crate trained me in 1week! I love my airline crate and often sit in it quietly waiting for food or to see if the treat fairyleft me a little something. I will do anything for a bit of food!If you are looking for a quiet, well mannered, super smart and loving doggy, I’m your boy!DUE TO MY SIZE I WILL ONLY GO TO A HOME WITH CHILDREN OVER THE AGE OF 12ALPHA IS CURRENTLY ON PHENOBARBITAL FOR EPILEPSY HIS DOSE IS 3 PILLS TWICE PER DAY AND IS ROUGHLY $83 FOR TWO MONTHS *Alpha is being fostered in Petawawa*

About Homeward Bound Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We rescue mainly Bulldogs and other flat faced dogs!!!! We love the breeds and know they sometimes need extra care and love. Before you consider any of these breeds you should get familiar with the terms; cherry eye, entropian, dry eye, heat stroke, bloat, cruciate and know that sometimes these breeds can develop or have these issues. Also remember they drool, snore, pass gas and breath heavy this is not for everyone, but for us it is normal!

Come Meet Our Pets...
